It was absolutely fantastic actually. A delicious summer fruit pudding / crumble. Now I have to go out and pick some more brambles to make a bigger one for the party on Sunday.

Miki, do they have brambles/elderberries in Japan?

    Hello, Rich !

Well,it’s my opinion, bramble and elderey aren’t so popular in Japan.
I mean people doesn’t eat that frequently. Just people knows which are
    berris and they’re yummy.

But when I was a child sometimes I took bramble to eat.
My home place is a sort of farm place and I could take that anywhere.
I didn’t cook, just took taht and eat.
And also I like mulberry as well !!
