After boiling for 5 hours:

I’m now going to store these cans until I have lots of people round for dinner. But what modern classic am I making*?

* English people need not answer because it’s obvious for you.

    There’s a modern classic English dish which involves boiling cans of condensed milk for 5 hours … What is it?

    Banoffi (or banoffee pie). It was invented in 1972 at a British restaurant called the Hungry Monk, then later imported to the US, and back to England.

    I was quite sure the answer from Lady E,was right!

    However,I’d much prefer licking condensed milk from tin rather than cooked though.
