Yoko “donated” her hot plate to the cookingwithrichard team.

This hot plate is a fantastic piece of kit and very rare — they simply don’t make the 240V (UK/EU) versions of these hot plates at all, and this one is a good 15-16″ in diameter so it’s large enough for the largest okonomiyaki or sukiyaki:
