Mmmm pork

This worked out rather well. Cooking time was 14 hours at 100C (according to the oven, but the real temperature would have been lower). The noodles were an excellent complement to the pork. Crackling didn’t crackle much, even though I tried cooking it separately. Altogether, a success.

That combination of the pork and noodles, was amazing!!
I love this oriental flavour….It’s worth to cook 14hours….I think.

Trouble is, you have to smell lovely pork for 14 hours while you wait!

I just kept the block of pork in the freezer till today – by reading this, I finally decided to give it a go of this long hour roasting! Still going……

First day – 2 to 9:30, on the following day from 8 to 12 – but I think it was too long. Seems to be that with my oven, 10 hours is enough.
Cracking came out rather well – but again, 30 min at 230C, and on the second day, I took the fat bits out from the block and cook further 40 min at 230C!
Didn’t realise how long it takes…….
