Curry recipe:

・じゃがいも
Potatoes

・たまねぎ
Onions

・とりにく
Chicken

・ココナッツミルク
Coconut milk

・ぎゅうにゅう
Milk

・ターメリックパウダー  少々
Turmeric powder (a little)

・チリパウダー  少々
Chilli powder (a little)

・ガラムマサラ  ちょっと
Garam masala (chotto)

・シナモン  ちょっと
Cinnamon (chotto)

Bangladeshi curry

I went to see the lovely umenana who lives in a scary flat in north London. She used to live with a Bangladeshi family, and they taught her to make a mean chicken curry. Lovely coconut milk and fragrant pilau rice:

I took along my home-made mango chutney, and made poppadums and onion bhajis.

Paul Smye-Rumsby, who lives in Dover, said: “It was about 08.15 when suddenly the bed shook violently. “I thought my wife had got cramp or something but then I saw the curtains were moving and the whole house was shaking. It lasted about 1.5 seconds..

When I was in Aomori four years ago there was a really huge earthquake near Sendai which shook the whole place for a minute. Screen capture from the TV:
