2008′s kakizome (水/”water”) worked out. We got plenty of water, of the wrong sort.
2009′s kakizome (金/”money”) worked well too … Now I have no money.

It’s been one year since I bought an iPhone, and to celebrate that I bought the Bijin Tokei iPhone application.

Owing to a mysterious stranger, I suddenly have a lot of saffron …
What can I make with all this saffron though?
I made saffron rice, and saffron chicken. The saffron chicken was a Mary Berry recipe (rather good in fact):

I got up at 7am this morning, got on a crowded train at 8, worked from 9 to 6.30, went for a quick drink, London Shitland was delayed on the way back, got home at 9.30! And now I’m knackered.
